COGEM has been asked to advise on the import, distribution and retail of cut-flower SHD-27531-4. SHD-27531-4 is a genetically modified white carnation. The carnation is red-purple and tolerant for sulfonylurea containing herbicides.

COGEM has been asked to advise on the application concerning cultivation of MON89034xNK603 maize. COGEM has previously advised about this application and concluded that the information was not sufficient to assess whether MON89034xNK603 could affect non-target organisms. Recently, additional information was provided by the applicant. COGEM has been asked whether this information answers its questions about the potential effects of MON89034xNK603 on non-target organisms.
