COGEM organises the international symposium 'GM animals: Perspectives and perceptions' on the 25th of October 2011 in Amsterdam. For more information and to register, go to the symposium website.

The symposium will give an update on the technological and regulatory status of GM and cloned animals and subsequently will go into the ethical and societal aspects of these developments through the views of experts and during discussions involving the audience.

The scope of the symposium will include GM animals like fish and insects as well as and cloned cattle and horses.
